Boys and Girls Club Members receive the power of education

In June 2007, University of Phoenix and the Louisiana Boys and Girls Club announced their partnership to award 10 scholarships to its members on an annual basis. During an inspiring press conference in New Orleans, the partnership was announced in front of Club Leaders, Club Members and local press. Throughout the next year, the Boys and Girls Club will award deserving members scholarships towards a degree of their choice at University of Phoenix. University of Phoenix has partnered with various other Boys and Girl’s Club organizations to award scholarships to its members.
Strike!

In June 2008, University of Phoenix employees put their bowling shoes on for charity! During the 9th annual Kids Chance of Arizona Bowl-a-thon, a team of University of Phoenix employees assisted in volunteering for the event and also did a little bowling for the charity. With every lane filled with energetic bowlers, the Bowl-a-thon guests raised donations for Kids Chance as they bowled the day away.
Kids Chance of Arizona is a non-profit organization focused on providing financial scholarships for children of permanently or catastrophically injured or deceased workers to complete their education. For more information, visit: http://www.kidschance.org/Arizona/arizona.html
